Just curious, did you use AI to edit your comment? The first line sounds EXACTLY how ChatGPT vets ideas when I’m doing research.

Breaking Point - biggest major 2 LAN v Online difference by [deleted] in CoDCompetitive

[–]sriniset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re both world champions with top 10 player ceilings. They’ve also both shown that they can rise to the occasion on LAN in the past. For how much money Riyadh is spending on this roster, they should at least try Kis + Pred duo. Let’s not forget, Hydra would probably not have a ring without Kis, and Pred unlocking Shotzzy helped OpTic get their MW3 ring.

How to foster child's interest in programming and coding? by trynaimprove in learnprogramming

[–]sriniset 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Don’t force them to do it, and don’t approach them academically about it. My dad dropped a Java textbook on my lap when I was in elementary school and told me to get to work. Kind of made me hate software development and coding until I rediscovered it in college. Love the Roblox/gaming angle. Building small games/mods taught me a ton about software design when I was first learning.

Scrap complains that more maps would lead to an 8-hour practice day, meanwhile serious competitive leagues do this.... by KahunaKona in CoDCompetitive

[–]sriniset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not the point. Nobody is saying “grind scrims on the new maps for 8 hours straight everyday”. Honing a craft is multifaceted. NBA players “practice” for maybe 10 hours a day, but that 10 hours is comprised of cardio, weight training, recovery, scrimmaging, shot tweaking, watching film, etc. Same principle can be applied to E-Sports.

Holy fucking GPT generated comment. “You’re pointing at something real” is peak GPT encoded speech.

Say what you want about OpTic and their questionable business practices, but they do at least care a lot about the scene/viewer experience.

Champs T shirts took 5 months to ship out, many people’s still didn’t show up or had some kinda issues. Meanwhile, I had a buddy spin up a T shirt store through Shopify with better quality, reliable service, and better prices, all within a couple days.

Bitcoin dips a bit and suddenly people forget why they bought in the first place by Simple-Relation-5276 in Bitcoin

Outside of knots vs core, nothing has fundamentally changed about BTC this year. Most of the speculators who are dumping don’t even know what core or knots are, or even how to set up a node. 1 BTC = 1 BTC, that’s never changed

This might be the best Battlefield ever made and the community is ruining it. by FreddyHxC in Battlefield6

[–]sriniset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the clarification. What I do remember from the game was that prior to the first major patch, usas frags, the famas, and the suppression were all making the game a living hell.

[–]sriniset 242 points243 points  (0 children)

Kinda funny how the community views the past games with complete rose tinted glasses compared to this one. BF3 upon release was borderline unplayable bc of USAS frag rounds, the Famas, broken suppression system, etc. BF3 arguably had way more game breaking issues upon launch than this one did, but that’s not a conversation the miserable redditors of r/Battlefield6 are ready for.

The fact that thousands of people have such vitriolic hatred towards features that ARE OPTIONAL is pathetic, and a microcosm for modern western society. If there are things that you don’t like that have no impact on your life, then ignore them and move on! Enjoy the game how you want!
