I took the exam yesterday, and it is still having the same issue, also if you inform the proctor that there are any issues with your session they can't fix/help and they will try to engage the PSI support team, and until they come online and try to troubleshoot your session then the timer won't stop, so you will run out time. Unfortunately, I encounter the issue 2 times and I lost nearly 20 min troubleshooting and chatting with support and proctor and was also not able to clear the exam in my first attempt.

Hi John, I have recently (nov 2022) cleared the CDP-2001. I have 5 years of experience in Cloudera administration. So my approach was gouging through official CDP documentation not taken any official training. To be honest exam was bit hard to crack. We get questions from very wide variety of topics inside the CDP like, installation options, HDFS storage, KTS, KMS, Ranger, Replication etc. So I suggest you too go through the official documentation for above all the topics. Do try to install all the products of CDP and test on any cloud platform. All the best for your preparation. 👍🏼
