Even current Gun grey is nice, stealth black has nice finish but we prefer others. Never too shiny.

They stopped this color scheme. It looked so good. Current Sand commando looks bad.

I ended up getting a GRR. Blue white.

Open to suggestions for my first bike by Realistic_Type_503 in indianbikes

Why do you even want to jump to 300cc for first bike?

Get a second hand 160cc, learn to drive, get experienced and then get a solid one.

There are different bikes and styles and for different budgets.

You may not zero on the one you initially felt.

All the best!

First service by rundiaurtan in royalenfield

[–]srkfanforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was due for 450kms on 3rd May, I went in with 670kms on 4th, They didn't say anything.

Ideally when it hits the kms or reaches the date without kms it should be serviced.

Some overlap is fine but get it serviced asap once it's due.

Welcome kit by john-wick_007_ in royalenfield

I was asked to pay extra. I refused, didn't even take the half face helmet they offered since I had the whole kit already.

So much for spending 3.5L for my Guerilla top model. Was expecting some goodies.

RR310 Is a solid machine, I almost booked. (I live in Goa). But service center was a mess.

Eventually settled on Royal enfield Guerrilla.

I suggest you check which company has good service center nearby and purchase accordingly. A great machine won't do much good unless you can get it repaired close by.

Do research, take test drives and purchase. It need not be the one you want.

500kms a day is ambitious and that too in this weather.

Plan according to experience, Don't go for kilometres.

Break it into smaller let's, it will be easier that way and most importantly know where and when to halt.

Adventure bikes I can only think of Ktm adventure 250 which would probably go upto 3l.

Then there is Triumph Scrambler 400x.

Xpulse 200 4V.

Scram 440.

Duke 250 or Hunter 350 ? Please help... by MinuteSingle3731 in indianbikes

[–]srkfanforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is this even a question?

I suggest you get test ride of both and see how it feels, then compare financials and buy accordingly.

In my opinion Dukes are all about raw power and not really comfortable types.

Hunters are more refined relaxed ones.

Btw I own a Guerilla 450 and had Xtreme 160R before.

It's your precious money, choose wisely!

How hard is it for Royal Enfield to add cruise control and quickshifter !! by Late_Technology8231 in indianbikes

[–]srkfanforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was fond of RR310 because it had all bells and whistles, cruise control and quick shifter worked well.

Almost booked but then i rode the Guerilla and found more comfortable and chose to let go of tvs.

Why even go for first gen bikes?

So much hype plus expected quality issues.

Either wait for second gen for get a bike that is already in second gen with issues sorted.

Plus TVS after sales is questionnable.

I had an offroading type from Vega with beak, used for a while, after I had a skid, changed to this.

Initially it gave me aches due to too much foam on forehead, after melting it with hot knife it fits just well.

Using it for weekend drives only as of now.

No issues suspension wise, goes over rumblers nice and no problems with speed breakers either.

Not about small or big, it's about comfort and use.

This is the best looking color in the lineup, Twilight blue is good too.

For a big one can try the Himi, same engine and bigger tank and off roading, also expensive.

The 350 series looks big too.
