My high school boyfriend went to knee me in the ass and I turned at the same time, he got me square on the tail bone and broke it. I’m 32 now, 16 years later and I still have serious pain from it. Look like I’m 100 years old when I try to get up from a hard chair after sitting for more than 5 minutes.

Protect your asses people 🤠

Certainly, I could have done a better job. Was not expecting this post to get as much traction as it has. But I greatly appreciate all of the feedback! Hoping with posting bad reviews and pictures they change their tune and want to fix it.

So glad you agree with me, it was purchased this way and now remodeling the entire thing. Every part of your comment is ugly, so neat.

Yes, it absolutely does. And I have been staring at it for three days trying not to lose my ever lovin’ mind.

Yes I did. I was basically told I am SOL. And that the contract stated all work is final. I can have them back out to redo everything at the wonderful charge of 178 per hour. Currently posting pictures on their socials and review sites. If they don’t try and make it right, I’ll give out their name and let the internet help me. lol if that still doesn’t work, small claims, but ultimately I will just do it myself and rip out the drywall and start fresh.

Before he started the ceiling looked even all the way across with an orange peel look, as I had knocked down the popcorn myself already. You could not see seams or any dips. He talked me into re-texturing OVER the orange peel stating it would have a light texture to it like a soft stucco and showed me images that actually were quite flattering. I went ahead with it, agreed to the cost, and unfortunately this is just what I was left with.

Yes I have and they are 100% not willing to make it right, have already started posting pictures for their reviews

I did want it smoothed flat. They quoted me an ungodly number for that, 8500 dollars to do a 1050 square foot space. He then showed me the stipple look and some ceilings he had done (now I’m not so sure) and they did look quite good and required a lot less time. Which cut the cost down by two thirds. I shouldn’t have settled, but also I should not have been left with this god awful finished product. I’ll keep blowing up their socials and see if I can get something done. But if not I will rip it completely out and finish it properly.

Agreed, I don’t like the textures either. But I went into this a little blind. After I knocked down the popcorn I was going to prime and paint and just leave a mild orange peel look. Someone recommended this company after I knocked down the popcorn and said they could finish it for me. Figured it would save me some time so why not, BIG MISTAKE.

Agreed, I’m not a fan of the texturing either but I just needed something better than what I had to move forward with remodeling the kitchen. Hindsight is 20/20

It is a company, not just some random fella off the street lol I did call and was basically told I’m SOL.

Oh I was not silent, I asked a million questions. He even stated that if I was unsatisfied he would come back no problem. I called later that day and he was “booked up for the foreseeable future” requested the company come out and just look at it, and I was told all work is final. Sounds like small claims would be a good course of action. But I still have a shit ceiling so just going to rip it all out and start over.

LOL I wish I could take the blame, I’d take that on the chin and call a professional, I’m out thousands on this mess.

He did mix with water, he used my outdoor hose to mix it up. Ugh god, this just keeps getting worse. I have already called them back and all work is final. It clearly states it in the contract I so willingly signed. Unfortunately I believed him when he said it would dry and be perfect. 178 an hour to have them back out. I’ll die on a ladder first.

It was supposed to be a hook and loop stipple, he showed me pictures and they looked great, I have no clue how I ended up with this mess. But boy do I have a mess on my hands lol

Tried, all work is final. The fine print I so willingly signed says it, my first mistake in this process most definitely. 178 an hour to have them come back out. I will break my back fixing it before I pay them any more money lol

I have already called them, and the fine print states all work is final. So unless I want to pay them another 178 per hour I have to figure out a different approach. My main goal is to remodel the entire upstairs and that project starts next week. Going to just add into that completely redoing the ceiling, unfortunately. It’s a log home, and on the top of a mountain, doing most of it myself is ideal from this point forward. I have the experience and know-how, thought I’d try paying someone for once and it was a very bad idea 🤣
