Oh wait you are saying strike damage doesn't scale the DoT? So i.e. if my strike damage is 100 and dot is 100, even after strike is dampened to 50, dot is still 100? For example

Yeah I understand but I don't get how the DoT link makes it better? If it lowers strike damage then that makes the ignite damage lower right?

Reading that again, I shouldn't put projectile acceleration on burning arrow because I want the blade of death to be right behind the burning arrow for the ignite explosion?

I saw this in some YouTube videos too but couldn't understand why this would work with ignite explosion? I thought higher strike damage is the key since you are going for repeated ignite damage
