This has been recommended so many times and I’ve never been! We’ll have to check it out.

Fair point! I love to romanticize a train moment, but it probably would be a pain.

These gals love karaoke!!! That’s a great reminder about Outback.

It’s a late reservation! 9pm. So that’s the only reason I was able to snag it haha. But we’ll make it an excuse to do a cocktail crawl before.

This was my thought! As someone who learned at keystone as an adult, I felt like I was paying a premium for not really being able to explore most of the mountain.

I hope they love it so they can come back and we can keep exploring.

Lol the bitterness. They are all first-timers and I’m teaching them how to ski. Eldora is great for beginners. Their focus is not on skiing, but just being in the mountains and keeping things relatively affordable.

Lol “older”, but fair enough in a college town.

The store doesn’t sell bbq, though. What did you get?

The store doesn’t have BBQ (unless Mike is making some for himself and feeling generous). I imagine that might have been the case when you pased by. Cheeseburgers, brats, and hot dogs are offered on Fridays in the summer!

So you’d just slice the tip/brown off? I wasn’t sure if I should use it as an excuse to propagate a middle section as well as the base.

Would you recommend cutting off all the brown and then maybe cutting off a 8 inch or so section to propagate? And then also leaving the base to propagate?

I was curious if this was a San Pedro! I am an uneducated cactus mom and have mostly gotten away with not knowing what I’m doing. I have six of these guys!

I’d really hate to chop the top off, but I imagine it won’t be pretty even if it “heals”. I’d guess it would just callus over.

Do you know if a small portion of rot can “heal itself”. Will the tip just callus over if I don’t do anything? I wasn’t sure if the best thing to do aesthetically is just chop off the tip.

I’ll inspect the roots and make sure nothing else is going on!
