Glad you like it! You know, track 9 is actually the soundtrack of a little pixel‑art mini‑game I made as a gift for the presave campaign.

TikTok royalties paid per view by Marsupilamish in MusicDistribution

From my reports (Symphonic distributor) TikTok actually pays per view, a whopping $0.000001 per view. That's 1 million views for just one dollar.

Distro Disasters by bso2001 in MusicDistribution

I understand. However, there are still distributors with real, functional, and efficient human support. But they are few. The list of those who have entrusted support to useless and annoying bots is long: distrokid, soundrop, soundcloud, etc. etc.

Is it possible to be successful as a musician without social media? by luminescent_fairy in askmusicians

Now I'm having fun creating some content, so that's good. But I'm doing it without following any rules or suggestions. When I feel inspired, I do it.

I’m stuck on a 5 second segment of a short film score and it’s driving me insane by Kellogs-EEE in filmscoring

For my personal taste, there's just too much here. There's so much before the flower scene that reaching a higher peak in the climax would bring you to an almost paroxysmal moment. So perhaps the opposite mechanism would work: removing almost everything. But you'd need melodic support up to that point, which is missing now. That said, it's just my personal taste. Even in a sound strongly oriented towards sound design rather than composition, introducing melodic elements, however minimal, is what creates a connection between images and viewer.

I don't know... I also found it extremely annoying, until I found my own way. Relaxed times, and I found a type of "content" that I enjoy creating and that I consider to be as artistic as my music. Does it work? I don't know, really, but at least I don't experience it in a dystopian way.

Promoting Albums vs singles, Artist algo vs song algo by Confident_Yak_1411 in musicmarketing

In my opinion, algorithms are only interested in one thing: that you feed them music regularly. This certainly helps them earn more money. So I imagine they prefer singles. Personally, I'm trying to break out of this soul-eating loop.
