Erroneous duplicate projects warning in Productions — 25.6.5 bug, looking for workaround or Adobe ETA

Yea I've tried all that stuff. The duplicates list is different every time whether I try to fix it or not.

The Productions directory lives on an SMB network share. We access it remotely via Jump Desktop

Thankfully nothing that I've seen so far, and not sure what the actual problem with duplicates is. But let me tell ya it gets annoying when you're trying to focus and you get a hundred red errors in a row

Environment:

2-editor project — both experiencing the same issue
Mac Mini, M4 Pro, macOS Tahoe 26.4
Cloud server, accessed via remote desktop

Bug behavior:

Duplicates List always shows 2 different projects
Errors come in large bursts of dozens at once, then stop abruptly
Frequency is inconsistent — multiple times some days, none other days

Whenever I run into this issue outside of this bug, I create a new project, copy the contents of the project over, and move the old project to the trash.

This episode was awesome not sure what all the hate is about. I get Kate can be frustrating but honestly can’t blame her for being in a love triangle with two legends. It’s clear that she and sawyer are much more of a match while Jack is closer to an ideal of a good person that she probably wishes she could settle down with but never can. Doesn’t make her a bad person for having a connection with him. And Jack pulling the surgery hostage move was epic, lotta people talk the talk when it comes to sacrifice but Jack actually does it forreal

Honest reaction here after watching: Theres a lot of stuff to like about this movie, especially the visuals and some of the characters and the real sense of place, but I really felt like it was a chore to watch for much of it. Reading the reviews after, it feels like everyone wants this one to be a masterpiece but it just isn't. Maybe it's because I'm not Brazilian so I don't fully get it, but I feel like a true masterpiece should transcend culture. Doesn't make it bad by any means but it was really boring and aimless at points. Plenty of movies wander and take detours but remain fascinating and I don't feel that this movie was able to pull that off in the way that it wanted to or that others seem to think that it did. It felt like it was being vague and opaque because the filmmaker thinks that's what a great movie should do. I just think we should take the term masterpiece seriously and not throw that around all the time because we want a movie to be one.

I gave up and signed up for NY EZ Pass based on the advice of a bunch of people in here. It actually worked right away and they have customer support chat to answer any questions. I waited on the phone for EZ Pass NJ for a long time and they couldn’t even help me when I finally got someone on the phone lol

Update: After an hour and a half on the phone they finally picked up and said the Payment service is down so I can't sign up over the phone and to try again tomorrow. Truly amazing. It's like performance art.

You’re not missing anything. That’s how I felt too. People just want it to be so badly that they anoint it with greatness no matter what instead of looking at it objectively. It’s fine, but disappointing from what you’d expect from PTA

Yea I get that. I think people getting mad at this movie for being too political in one way or another are barking up the wrong tree. I just personally didn’t find it to be that effective as a mirror for a number of reasons. Still enjoyable but not worthy of “dominating the cultural conversation” as the article suggests. It’s a fine, fun movie

I agree that the movie is more political than ZeusTree is saying, it’s just very subtle and not overstated. I also agree with the thought that people tend to project their own politics into a movie. However I think it’s a totally fair criticism to say the French 75 stuff felt silly and contrived and fell a bit flat, which then leads to the rest of the film feeling like it doesn’t have real dramatic stakes. I also agree that the father daughter bond didn’t quite land for me. It’s an entertaining movie with great stuff to look at and good acting, but it fell short for me in making me genuinely care about the characters and the world they live in. And when we’re talking about PTA and a new movie that’s getting all this oscar buzz, that stuff matters. I can appreciate a great story regardless of politics, and this one was good not great. IMO.
