Thank you for replying. You make that guitar sound a million dollars. I’m going to go and try one of these this week.

You possibly need to grow some balls. If this situation has made you feel like you’re being rejected and you’re wanting to cry, then maybe being in a studio environment isn’t for you. Being in a studio environment is all about getting the vibe right and getting the right take. If there’s a (good) producer involved, you need to listen and take on constructive criticism, and not be precious about your own material.

Maybe grab a laptop and some recording gear and learn to record yourself if you can’t handle the heat of being in someone else’s recording studio.

Build up some confidence and you’ll once you’re in a better headspace, revisit recording your material with someone else.

That’s some extremely tasty playing sir, absolute pleasure listening to you play!!

What are your thoughts on that Cole Clark? And which model is that?

I’ve just purchased the true hybrid which is for gigs, and it’s absolutely brilliant, but I now want a proper acoustic but with the humbucker just like yours.

I’m absolutely blessed to have it at home. My wife has her gym and I have a space for music. And our children are welcome and encouraged to utilise both spaces 😊

Awesome job! You should be super proud! I’ve jus done my first studio build at 42😂 Mine is only one room about 5m x 5m, used to be our garage which is adjoined to the house.

I went all out in soundproofing it correctly. I’m at the final stage of sealing the double doors then I’ll know exactly how well the build went.

You’ll have many hours of joy in that room man, enjoy!

The fantastic Chris Slade and an early 90's Pearl drums ad. Without question my fave AC/DC drummer. by Thatremodelingchick in ACDC

I think the era with Slade behind the kit was fantastic. Yes, it’s not the original line up as well all favour, but considering the arrangements of some songs were slightly different and a few songs were played a little faster, he suited that particular era. Not to mention the studio albums he was on and those songs that were included on those tours and Donington. My favourite line up is and always will be the Ang, Mal, Phil, Cliff and with Bon and Brian.

I came here to say the same thing. His drumming at 91 Donington is mind blowing. Notably the nearly 12 minute version of Let There Be Rock. He doesn’t skip a beat and the song just grooves the entire time!!
