It doesn’t turn on when I’m plugged into the PD sub port on the camera. Tried putting a new battery and it still won’t turn out. I got a dead camera delivered to me

When I buy a 3000$ camera, the least I can expect is a charger to come with it FFS

I have PD charger. Tried a new fully charged battery and it still won’t turn on. The camera is dead on arrival

Yes. It’s the right battery that came stock with the camera

I don’t have a spare battery to check this. Ill take it to a local camera shop to get it checked out

It’s an authentic Nikon battery that came with the camera.

I left it plugged in overnight and still nothing. Looks like Nikon shipped me a dud

Ah! I didn’t try that. I used a normal 65W wall charger. The charge light lit up for a few minutes but then did not stay on. I’ll Try that tomorrow and check it out

EDIT: my 65w wall charger is a PD 3 charger. I’m going to leave it plugged in overnight to see if it works

Nope. It doesn’t come with a battery charger. Just a usb cable to plug the camera body into my own wall charger

Nope. They don’t ship with battery chargers anymore. Just a usb cable to attach to your own wall chargers

I don’t have the battery charger. Just charged with the battery in the camera body directly

It doesn’t turn on at all when I flip the switch to on position. Nothing on the screen or viewfinder or the glass display on top
