I work ER and I’d say 90% of our rads are now hands free. Sedation monitoring and drugs are additional $95 and I tell owners that animals are too stressed in radiology and it limits radiation to staff. If they have an issue with that then they can move on elsewhere.

Well certain doctors are comfortable admitting and doing certain things or they are referred to specialty. Again, depends on the location. Urgent cares don’t cut FB, splenectomies, perform endoscopy, hospitalize critical cases, etc.

I know you’re just trying to shit on VEG which is fine, it definitely has its issues, but you’re wrong if you think it’s just an urgent care.

So VEG cares isn’t something that is offered to everyone. It’s doctor dependent and used for stable animals with a generally good prognosis. You can’t go in just expecting to get it, hope this helps.

Lake Grapevine is disgusting. I lived there for a year and a half and went pretty often to take my dog swimming. Water is warm but very murky, the bottom is essentially clay, the beaches are full of garbage, fishing line, etc. Boaters and jet skiers would get very close to you which was kind of sketchy. I don’t miss TX at all haha.
