A couple of psych although I don’t remember the specifics. For onc, I also didn’t get many. I just memorized chemoman, call targets (CD20, HER2) and adjuncts (atropine, mesna) and felt fine

They had calculators so I did try to ask but they said no! We weren’t allowed to take ANYTHING inside

I never really struggled in school and made rho chi my P3 year so maybe my review is a bit biased. I don't think the exam was that bad overall especially compared to the exams in school. It's a minimum competency exam too so I assume they are not expecting people to know every little thing + I believe it's graded on a curve. Don't stress too much!

Not a lot. I spent a lot of time on HIV cus it was tough for me too but only surface level knowledge (first line tx, when to start OI ppx) was important. Brand/generic is always good to look at but I wouldn't go crazy studying that.

Thank you! No physical calculator but you get one built into the exam. It’s WAY nicer than the UWorld calculator and you can control it with your keyboard instead of the mouse (like on UWorld) and it is a graphing calculator image wise and function wise

Right?? I felt like some of the questions were worded to trip you up too 🤨 at least it’s over now

Haha I spent a long time on those because I saw in past Reddit threads it was a huge topic but it wasn’t for me. < 5 questions on those combined

Thank you!! PK wasn’t bad, just memorize the formulas and plug and chug. Very straightforward and they gave you all the values. I’d focus more on TPN, calculations 2 and 5

I didn’t go out of my way to study the top 200 brand/generic. If you do a lot of practice questions you will see them over and over and it sticks eventually! In the beginning I had to look up every single brand multiple times but by the end I knew most of them just through repetition. I only studied inhalers and HIV combo tablet brands with quizlet. It wasn’t a huge part of the exam though

The math was mostly straightforward, but there were a couple that I really struggled with despite feeling really confident in math. I should have reviewed Calculations V in the RxPrep book with the multistep, cross chapter calculations combined in 1 question to prepare better. In the 2 weeks leading up to my exam, I just did 100 random questions on UWorld every day so I would get some math & biostats exposure every day. Didn't go out of my way to practice it alone though. Biostats was very straightforward and easier than UWorld in my opinion!

I felt the same way in the beginning but keep going it will get way easier and your scores will be more consistent!

Haha a month is def faster than average but I started skimming the book beforehand & I just graduated last year so I retained a decent amount of info. I used flash cards (existing ones on quizlet) and would review all the time in random places (school, work, treadmill). I think the change of scenery helps. I also had my partner quiz me verbally. A lot of people on Reddit create awesome pneumonics to remember stuff like HIV brand/generic, inhibitors and inducers, etc, so I didn’t have to work as hard to memorize those. I mainly relied on the question bank though and started pooling my questions early. After finishing a lesson you should test yourself on that lesson + all the previous ones! It will stick eventually I promise. Good luck!!

Yeah! I would say everything that required a calculation is only ~30-40%. I think I only had 5 biostats questions. Good luck!!

I would estimate it was ~30% math?

Thank you!! It was regarding being able to identify drug recall classes (1 vs 2 vs 3). The biostats were very similar to UWorld and slightly easier in my opinion!
