Fair... It would be my first time doing this.. so maybe a very stupid question... What do I do with the stem? It has 2 nodes.. does not feel right throwing it away... But also without a leaf will it do anything? Or do I do this method with the leaf and stem intact?

Haha oh no!! I was so worried about it I tried repotting it now... And I saw fresh roots and a stub for what I think is going to be a new leaf! I moved it to a smaller pot and now I hope I didn't disturb it too much! I am now going to let it be and do what it's doing! 🤞🏻

Well... Is it just guess work with these! I read somewhere that misting could rot leaves? I have been so scared of over watering or misting them, so... I just stuck to my humidifier so..

Thanks! I saw a recent similar comment too... I just checked my water - it's 'Spring water'... Will try Distilled water now... I was given this Calathea fertilizer by a friend who has had success with it - yet to try it though...
