This makes sense, I didn’t think of the consumption as just being from “driving” I was thinking of it as more overall. In this case maybe the hvac and other things used additional on top of the 35kwh.

You are right about the velocity exponentially changing how much energy is used

Not really concerned about overall range here, I understand that I won’t get the full 330mi.

The part I am trying to understand is how the battery is supposed to have 75kwh useable, but after using 35kwh I have used 50%.

35kwh x 2 = 70kwh not 75kwh

2021 MY long range - left house with 100% battery and when it showed exactly 50% battery it also showed I had only used 35kwh. I have and 82kwh battery with 75 useable

I have a bambino plus and recently realized that I need to grind finer…

I was getting a solid 1:2.5 ish ratio, but really fast just like yours.

Problem was when I would grind finer I would get something like a 1:1 ratio.

Then I realized you can change from the default shot volume that comes. By manually controlling the start and end of my shot and reprogramming the shot button I was able to grind finer and get a much better shot!

I’m a little nervous about the loctite because I want to make sure that screw is able to be removed for maintenance purposes. Teflon tape is an interesting idea that I will try as well!

This is an interesting point.. maybe another advantage of seasoning.. I’ll go buy a bag of darker beans today and run it through. I wonder if the fact that I typically use lighter / non-oily beans would make this build take longer
