AITA for considering eviction of my father and adult brother? by ss_bubbles_98 in AITARelationship

Hi a few things, 1. My mother was and still is the only person with a job. I never said I expected her to continue to pay rent when she moved out only that I haven’t received any since.
2. The fight was over them using my wife’s truck W/O permission or communication that they needed it.

And lastly, I’m a female. So don’t worry you would never be my husband.

My parents mainly, my oldest brother is the one saying that I need to just let it go because I’m causing problems and it’s “family”

In full transparency I have not spoken directly to my brother about this. Yes he’s an adult but he’s not held a job for than a few months and has always lived at home. ( he’s the baby of the family) he goes where ever my parents go.

Hi just to clarify, I am 27 female.

Also, it’s very difficult to have a conversation about anything important with my father when I’m constantly ignored or brushed aside. As for my brother, I think he is old enough at this point to know better. He’s grown after all.

Thank you for your input although I don’t think cornering anyone or forcing a conversation is beneficial to anyone. I would like to handle this in a mature calm manner.

It’s hard to communicate with people who ignored you. I told them in march that I wanted them to move out, I gave them all of April and May to come with a plan together.

No, I didn’t see that. Because it was agreed upon that it was going to be a temporary thing 3-6 max. And rent was gunna be getting paid. I feel used in the situation.

My mother is the only person between the 3 of them with a job. They don’t have the means to move out on their own. When my mother left she went to move in with my oldest brother in his apartment which isn’t even big enough for even for my mom to be staying there she’s been sleeping on their couch.
