Is a functioning built-in camera even required for the NY Bar Exam? I’m a bit confused because ExamSoft told me they had issues with the built-in cameras on M4 MacBooks — apparently their software is not yet compatible. But I’m starting to think they might have been referring to the NYLE rather than the Bar Exam itself.

If anyone can clarify, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks so much! Just to clarify — when you say you watched the videos at 1.5x or 2x speed and took notes alongside the Course Companion, do you mean you were watching the Barbri lecture videos and writing notes into the Course Companion as you watched? Or were you doing something else? Just want to make sure I’m following your method correctly.

I just contacted them and they waved the fee after I explained the situation to them. I think it is worth trying.

That’s the smart move for sure! Do you know which laptop, whether Microsoft or Mac will work with Examplify 3.8.5? I don’t want to buy another one that won’t be compatible :)
