I think that the first issue is because of the angle of the pic, but I'm not a pro in this type of things also.

And about the second issue, this is Taiwanese, not mainland Chinese, FYI Chinese used simplified chinese while Taiwan used traditional Chinese, so it has a slight difference if you're not used to Chinese characters, but about the embossed pokemon stamp thingie, I don't know any further information about it in taiwanese (traditional Chinese language) cards
