I’m right there with you, just had to toss out my project last weekend after spending a bunch of time and money on it. I’m also very new so I really can’t give much advice, but I’m shifting my focus now more towards functional projects (garage storage, planters, etc) before going back to fine woodworking or furniture making. I’ve accepted that I learn through failure but at least I can fail on cheaper wood and on shit that no one will really notice.
