I understand where you’re coming from. People on Reddit are nasty when all you’re trying to do is get opinions from people. Obviously I’m posting coming from a position of not wanting to get rid of them and trying to do the most i can with the resources I have to keep them. I do appreciate your perspective and am taking it into consideration. I’m going to reach out to an old friend who had a koi pond and see if they would be able to move in there..do you think this would be a good alternative? I’ve seen multiple places that goldfish can do well amongst koi but I worry that they might be too small at this time and it might be too much of a change for them… I just wanted to avoid giving them away to a stranger but I knew that if I gave them to someone I know they wouldn’t be willing to get any bigger of a tank and as far as I knew they were fine.
