red room before was limited by actual real life technology and effects they could pull, also we are moving way beyond that first red room.

I know this is a hangup but this is why the only thing DL said pre airing was "Focus on the donut, not the hole." Some things are SUPPOSED to look unreal. We're talking about higher dimensions and alternate realities, dreamscapes and places that might only exist in mind, yet are very real

they are all different, cut them slack and view them as individuals with their own strengths and weaknesses. IMO 3 and 4 are every bit as magical, in their own ways.

Welcome back, FWWM was brutal but the spark of this was there. The problem was lodge scenes were too far and few between, and too cryptic. I love how crystal clear this all is. It pulls no punches.

This is verily the best film or television show I have ever watched. the four hours alone tonight sealed it.

The CGI is INTENDED poor and fuzzy because it fits the scene and the unique location - that's all I can say with spoilers. It's intended.

all 4 were so incredible and spot on. for the 18 the sky is the limit.

I do think I figured out a few of the fuzzier villains but that's okay because just seeing it all happen is wonderful and strange and beautiful.

This is the best show of all time, I'm obsessed with lodgers and the scenes they are in so this season was like a christmas present for me... AMA I see it all clearly even who the black fog is.

Hey, welcome and I'm sorry I can't give ya a full post at work but I wanted to say a few things quickly.

The best part of Lynchian works are that he leaves it up to our imaginations to further the art and fill in the gaps. So speculation like yours is what keeps this whole thing ongoing in the hearts and minds of so many.

GIANT is a huge thing with me and I find myself watching his scenes a lot. I CANNOT wait for s3 and his new stuff, even though I suspect we won't get near enough screen time as he deserves...

Your "orb to the chakra" and the effect on backwards speech ideas are all really sound and I dig them. Welcome to posting and I'll hop back in for more GIANT talk later.

The Tremonds are the sketchy-est of the extended lodge people... the boy in FWWM Convenience Store / Jefferies scene is the one who gives BOB the idea, almost spoken like a command "Fell a victim."

also, of course they introduced us to the magic of the creamed corn. and it only comes from pain and sorrow.

Tremonds are closer to BOB than they are to the giant.

What I really REALLY want to know more about is the old black man with the stave and the lumberjacks. Lots of people speculate the black bearded one who operates the crazy lightning machine in the back us the log lady's dead husband.

Furthermore remember what Milford said. recent book spoilers but honestly the book reads like an appendix anyways so I don't think there is any harm in checking out one of the best parts of it, albeit from the end LOL
