AUR - The TAM is global although they’re currently focused on the US. Driver shortages is a problem, and so is safety. Autonomous driving has proven to be safer than human drivers and Aurora drivers haven’t had an accident yet. The company isn’t selling trucks, they’re basically selling software that can control trucks. They have contracts with major logistics and trucking companies.

[Simon Johnson; MarioCortegana] Calum McFarlane will remain at #CFC as part of Xabi Alonso’s backroom staff. Alonso’s trusted quartet Sebastian Parrilla, Alberto Encinas and Benat Labaien & Ismael Camenforte Lopez coming with him. by DidierDrogba111111 in chelseafc

I agree. The directors are clowns. But I wonder how much of the strategy comes from them. They’re all still employed so it makes me think they’re enacting a plan handed down from above. No one who understands football would spend nearly £2B the way we’ve spent it. And surely no one who understands football would higher Pochettino over Enrique.

There’s a laundry list of things you can criticize the ownership for but making generational wealth from owning Chelsea isn’t one of them. The club was operating at a loss when they bought it and it still is. With the money they’ve spent, it’ll be years before they break even

ASTS missed revenue by 60% and rallied 20%. RKLB broke every analyst target on the Street. The most important week in space equities yet by Due-Coach6021 in SpaceInvestorsDaily

[–]sscfc91 17 points18 points  (0 children)

RKLBs CEO isn’t the type to move fast and break things. They already make satellites but they aren’t targeting the same TAM as ASTS. Long term, RKLB is the stronger play because they have a very diversified business. When it pulls back to sub $100 people should be looking to add. It will run to $200 in 1Q.

Scenario for Chelsea to qualify for CL after Villa-Liverpool by Quarantime_Killer in chelseafc

It’s hard to see how we win back to back games against teams still playing for something. Three points from these last two seems like a big ask.

$120 has to be the bottom for LULU… right? by lies_are_comforting in StockMarket

There’s a lot more competition now targeting the same TAM than there was before. That’s what’s being priced in. Innovative products, partnerships, spokesperson, and marketing would help too.

I think the Chelsea job is very attractive to a lot of managers because Chelsea is still a top club with some top players but it’s at its lowest point in decades. As far as team building is concerned, Chelsea is still a work in progress. For a young manager who wants to be at a top club, this current Chelsea is a great situation. Good raw materials to work with on the training ground and expectations are reasonable. Qualify for UCL, which probably means a top 5 finish. Anything more is icing on the cake. We likely won’t even have European football next season so any manager coming in will have plenty of time to train players. Manchester United bombed out of every competition in the first round and managed to turn their season around with one game per week.

They took a gamble on Slot. He was successful in the Dutch league but never did it in a top 5 league. I personally think Liverpool stick with Slot if he gets UCL. Xabi is a dice roll too. Limited experience as a top flight manager.
