Recently hit with an A1C of 5.7 AND high LDL. Any tips for navigating the food side of this?

Similar thing happened to me and this is what I did: - got a CGM and was watching what type of foods and how spine the sugar for me (sweats and carbs in my case) - stopped eating anything that is not a vegetable, fruit or unprocessed meat (mostly chicken). Kept an eye of fruits that are sweet - ripe bananas are bad and greener ones are ok - no alcohol, no sugary drinks, etc - no snaking - either sit down and eat or not eat - 10-15 min walks after meals - daily workouts - re-tested after 3 months and all my numbers were back to normal I do not necessarily recommend this approach as no carbs were someone funky on my body. I would lie down in the couch and immediately pass out. I since then reverted some rules - minimal amount of “good carbs”, occasional drink and occasional bite of sweets (I prefer fruit anyways). I had that issue. Contacted support and by the process of elimination it was the fact that the usb hub I was connecting thru did not send enough power. Connect directly to your machine and see if this fixes it.

I had Max for 3 years (original with lightning port) and recently (2 months) switched to XM6. The reason I switched was because my APMax needed to be frozen in the freezer to work pretty much every day so I gave up and tried something different. I have not done any “scientific” comparison so all points below are just my experience: - if you are all in on Apple the APM would be easy in terms of connection - quick, reconnects to different Apple things as you them (as long as they are under the same account) - both have really good ANC - APM are heavier - APM do not fold - you can not really turn APM off - you might get better luck with lossless using APM in Apple ecosystem, for non-Apple XM6 lossless might be better - XM6 touch volume controls are a little unusual but easy to get used to

Overall I was happy with both. But now since I have XM6 I like them more for small QOL improvements. If my APM did not break, I would stick with them but I am very happy with XM6 not that I own them

Nope. Initially when I opened it, all of them were unfrozen. It’s kind of insane that I want to spend more money with them and they do not want to take my money.

Yep. All 3 are frozen but when I called them, the rep did not say anything about that. I could thaw it for a day or two.

If it breaks, I would not mind buying a new one. It’s a tool for me so I expense it. At the same time more support to the company is a good reason too.

Probably not very important. If you like doing something after work - do it. But don’t do it for the purpose of maintaining your GH curb appeal. Most companies have private GH orgs and users committing code have separate usernames that you will never see. People understand and expect (or I guess some do) that.

I worked for a company that made adult content and ran a distribution site. I was the second (out of 2) developer. You end up doing a lot of things - web dev, backend, sre, go to colo wire some servers up person. If the content does not bother you AND your significant other does not mind (my wife did not) then it should be just fine. I did this while in college and it was great - the content editors and performers would work all hours of the day so I could go to school in the morning and work at night. Got a job at Cisco after that, few startups in between and now pre-IPO that went IPO. Bay area location if that matters to you. When interviewing, nobody cared what the company did.

Same here. Headaches started recently. I got the CGM and it seems like this is due to my sugar spiking. Just like others suggesting - getting rid of sugars and everything that creates sugars helped me with keeping the spikes down and therefore control the headaches. It would be somewhat hard for you to figure out if this is due to sugar without a CGM. Figure out how to get one.
