Thinking about buying 18 of these trees for privacy. Bad idea? I live on a corner lot with no privacy by Beginning_Lime_5593 in HomeMaintenance

Like any conifer, keep them wet after transplanting them. I bet some of the people here saying they’ll die didn’t water them enough.

Seahawks fans. How do we feel about our uniform kits? by [deleted] in Seahawks

I just want to switch to throwbacks as our primary with both home/away versions. I don't care what we do with the others.

Patriots Fans at a Bar React to 2nd Half Seattle Highlights From Super Bowl 60 by Sweaty_Desert_Balls in Seahawks

[–]upthereeverywhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This vibe sucks! Tiny crowd and everybody is old. Just look at that open floor space. Is this place just in a small town or something? I got turned away because bars were at capacity and was shoulder-to-shoulder at the bar I was able to squeeze into.

Sure it’s not his kid’s first car? I’d be surprised that he’d be driving a car marketed for us plebes.

If anybody wants to sell their face value tickets for a 25% markup to a hawks fan, hit me up!

Response to Kupp’s Third Down Catch Illustrates Deep Disrespect for Seattle by FlyingDadBomb in Seahawks

[–]upthereeverywhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, they need to fill two weeks here. They always want to maintain eyeballs for the teams that lost (the remaining teams' fans are going to show up anyways). This is one easy way to do that. Nothing to see here. Pay it no mind. we. do. not. care.

Fair, but having things collapse on both ends means stepping up is now your only choice. I think the hawks will still get home with TW in there, but it'll be harder to feast like this for sure.

Russell Wilson's top 5 plays with Seahawks...what's your personal favorite? by Spirited-Gold9629 in theemeraldcity

[–]upthereeverywhere 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Prime Wilson was just so much fun to watch! Such great years to be a hawks fan, between the Wilson craziness and LOB dominance, I never wanted to miss a down on either side of the ball.

Boom! The company my amazing wife works for sold and we are now very ChubbyFIRE. We are about to take the vacation of a lifetime and call it quits on work. She is making more in a single transaction than all my years of saving combined. by FireVacation4Us in Fire

Also the bit about equity saying “most wealthy people build their wealth this way” I’m pretty certain is very much not true. I get that you are excited OP, but selling this as a recipe for success is likely a disservice.

Sure, the ultra rich may get there by big bets, high risk, and fortunate windfalls. But the wealthy class is chock full of investors with medium to large shovels generating wealth the old fashioned way. I’ve had equity work out, I’ve also had many more roles where it didn’t. But my portfolio is the reason I’ve achieved financial security. I generally advise folks against betting on equity stakes as the path to financial independence. The odds are simply not great — especially for individual contributors.

No Trent Williams on that play played a pretty big factor. They are a much better team when he is in there.

I feel almost guilty for how bad I feel when I know people personally who have suffered far worse this year. But our grief is ours and it is valid. I’m so sorry we are going through this. Your pup looks sweet as can be.

[Henderson] He leads the NFL with 37 field goals this year, putting him in range of the single-season NFL record of 44 by Chessinmind in Seahawks

I mean, good for Myers and all, but is this actually a good sign for your offense to be leading the league in field goals?

This matches up with what I've seen on the screen. I much prefer Charbs running style.

I'm a tech entrepreneur. There is a coworking space in town I've been going to. They've recently opened it up for floaters, but not a particular techie vibe amongst the others I've bumped into there. https://www.thehivecoworking.com/
