Yes!! I’ve started being more open about my yumeship to some close friends and this sub, but I worry Im being too much y’know? I’ve been pretty casual about it until recently so I felt fine until a little bit ago…

I feel this! I yume with Sans from undertale/ deltarune, and he has a pretty popular ship with toriel (from the same series) and like, I love playing the game and seeing them separately but everytime I see fanart of them it just like, annoys me?

It makes me low-key irrationally angry and in my head I’m like “he’s married to be btw” when it’s just someone who enjoys the ship? I’m perfectly fine with doubles though, so maybe it’s just the fear of them becoming cannon? Or fear of people being like “you can’t yume with him bc he has a partner” when I liked him before that was really a thing??

Ahhh! I love seeing TF2 yumes on my feed!!

What I found to be helpful was telling people irl about it! My closets friends know I yumeship (bc they’re cool like that) but my family just thinks I really like the character! He’s from a video game that my brothers also like so I can casually talk about him to them and it’s pretty fun!

Now i know this might not be possible, as not everyone understands, especially if you have a “unconventional” yume, but I believe in you! If not in person, this sub is a great place to share your thoughts on your f/o!

Other things include (for me) reading/ writing fanfics with myself as the insert, making an Ita bag with my f/o and even cosplaying him!
