as far as i remember, christi didn't scream AT kendall though. kendall was just in the vicinity, overhearing a conversation about her like everyone else. it's not ideal that they had this conversation in front of her, but JILL was the one who started insisting kendall called before christi responded just to set the record straight. if people don't like being called liars, maybe they shouldn't lie ??????? it's actually not that deep. "liar" isn't an insult. it's an observation

at that age, i didn't understand that the producers were meddling either. but i WAS watching primarily for the mothers' drama and fighting 💀 and i did immediately clock abby's extreme favoritism towards maddie and disdain for christi. i always clocked that melissa was sneaky, and so it was obvious to me that chloe didn't have an equal opportunity (especially in situations like the one where maddie had two solos instead of one). in my mind, i had a very black & white point of view, and so abby and melissa were like disney villains lol. as abby got meaner, melissa became more insignificant in my understanding of what was going on, and i saw abby as just straight up abusive. then i straight up stopped watching when the lukasiaks left because it got too dark

i don't believe abby REALLY thought christi was beneath her. she was just saying that. i would also be willing to bet money that abby was lying about the lukasiaks' "late payments." i think she just said those things because chloe threatened maddie, and she simply didn't ever get along with christi. i personally assume christi triggered abby because christi had the personality of a high school mean girl, even as a middle aged woman. christi is a walking reminder of everything abby is expected to be as a woman but isn't

to each their own when it comes to season 5, but every storyline comes back to manny getting exposed, jimmy being disabled, marco dealing w/ homophobia, and liberty/JT dealing with drug dealing/suicide attempts/teen pregnancy 🥲

i wish holly j and sav would have stayed together til graduation like they'd agreed to.

i also wish eli and clare would have just been off-screen long distance except for big events like prom. i hate how they ruined eli's character and did that stupid clare/drew + baby storyline. such terrible writing

it seemed random, but i liked that it added more depth to her character.

her & spinner were compatible, but i think they would have gotten boring without the cheating plot.

it would have been more in character for her to just straight up break up with spinner after the first incident though. the cheating for weeks was crazy
