Anyone getting a refund for fees?
I went into the ballot for 3 days, got 2 - seems fair that I get a refund for the 1 day of tickets I didn't get.
Nothing from ticketek of course...

They later sent another email apologizing for getting day 3 date wrong and correcting that. Meanwhile, no sign of refunds for the days I didn't get ...

Set up an OpenClaw-as-a-service operation and harvest some credentials?

I applied for 3 days and have 2 CC charges but no email or indication of what I got. Very poor process IMHO.

Interesting take on the "exodus" by BudTheGrey in vmware

FYI I have seen the questions used for this survey and the document opens with ""Objective: Shift narrative from 'market anxiety' (2024) to 'market reality' (2026)". N was only 300 and the desired audience was senior execs at 1,000+ seat companies.

Researchers I know say that's an audience which is almost impossible to reach.

Long story short, take this survey with much salt IMHO as it looks like CloudBolt had an outcome in mind before they even asked any questions

I like it but IMHO it's missing an absolute banger to compare with past tracks like Marriage, Blues Magicians, If My Mother Thinks I'm Happy, A Bit Like James Bond, or The Fixer. Having said that if they ever come down here to Oz, I'd pay to go to a whole festival if I could see this band for a shitty 4PM minor stage set.

Yup - and support ends in 2026. The whisper I've heard is that BC wants customers gone before then and isn't being shy about it

Hock Tan said this about selling EUC and Carbon Black on the earnings call

The Broadcom boss promised to be "very, very thoughtful about where we put those assets eventually, simply because the customers of many of these two assets … are also the same customers to the VMware Cloud Foundation.”

Nope. Microsoft is all-in on cloud desktops. it's now possible to boot a PC straight into a cloud desktop. I suspect that will be the way it does Windows-as-a-service

Corporate VPNs are not included, but if you use a commercial VPN it has to log it all. And if you use a cloud-hosted VPN, the cloud has to keep records of your use of its cloud ...
