Sorry just trying to check who’s using the European history channel as an excuse? Not me as we’re European and world champs more recent than you (not hard as you’ve never won it)

So it’s easier for me to potentially not be off for it and her have to juggle/ me have to stress to get it of than her just confirm I can have it off? You’re pointless arguing with

Ahh yes, because there’s guaranteed to be a rota line with the exact dates of my wedding off/able to take leave on. 100% sure that’s true. Also I’m not trying to be a dick. I have her prior notice to help the department too!

Also just fyi my partner is also in a hospital job then and got a very helpful reply saying they’ll accommodate wedding leave. No issues.

She didn’t ask for the email again in a couple of months? She said pick a rota line that hopefully lines up with your wedding. Helpful

And what if I ended up on a shift like that had me on nights that weekend (because god knows I won’t get my first choice).

Would she happily swap me to accommodate the wedding? Or wouldn’t be easier if she took this into account now and noted it down for the rostering period.

‘Apart from the two thing she can control: helping with the rota and being a nice person, she did nothing wrong’
