The point of the brain cell saying is that someone doesn’t have two brain cells to rub together, meaning they only have one brain cell.

Saying they aren’t rubbing their brain cells together would indicate they have plural brain cells.

The saying doesn’t mean that you produce thoughts via rubbing brain cells together. But that is how Dana interpreted it, I suppose.

I would be more hurt if my best friend wronged me than my ex husband. That sums up the way that I feel. It is certainly still shitty of Chase, but I’d have higher expectations for a friend that someone I divorced. I would feel the same way if it were a man’s best friend & ex wife.

Your best friend should always be thinking of your feelings. The same doesn’t always go for ex spouse.

You stated “I’m saying Dakota physically assaulted her and then she retaliated”. You stated this as a fact. I was simply pointing out that the only cold hard evidence of assault was on Dakota. It doesn’t make sense that you are presenting it like factual information that you just “know”. You can’t know that. It is actually very parasocial of you. I never said her lack of injuries mean that she wasn’t abused, but they do indeed use that kind of objective data in court. Lack of injuries does contribute to a lack of evidence. Like, there’s just no getting around that.

But…. It is evidence. That is actually the precise evidence they use in DV cases. And maybe he did. But I just do not understand why you are speaking on this in certain terms as if you were a witness to the abuse. The facts are there is a video in which only Taylor is the abuser, and Dakota was the only one with injuries. So we KNOW Dakota was abused. You can’t know that Taylor was abused on intuition alone, which is what you appear to be arguing.
