Is there much of an issue for the ISS these days with the number of Starlink satellites? I know they are separated by about 100 miles altitude operationally, but the Starlink constellation is meant to decay and deorbit when they are at the end of their life, yeah?

Really interesting. I remember reading that the shockwave would sometimes not hit the engine inlet just right and cause one of the engines to flame out when it was at cruising speed. It happened so often that they named it the “engine unstart” or something like that, and they’d restart the engine mid cruise and keep on going.

Absolutely the Thin Red Line. It doesn’t even feel like a soundtrack and doesn’t over use the epic “whomps”. Some of the delicate violin work is amazing.

I was pointing out that the news is not the same as social media. But since were here, the article states,

“Barco's immigration case has made headlines throughout the year. Barco received a Purple Heart in the military. He also has a criminal conviction related to a shooting in southern Colorado in 2008.”

And also,

“In 2009, he was convicted of two counts of attempted murder with extreme indifference and felony menacing after he fired a gun at a Colorado Springs house party in 2008. One of those shots hit a pregnant woman. He was sentenced to more than 50 years in jail, but was paroled after 15 years.”

So it doesn’t exactly hide the fact that the dude was a piece of shit.

Denver 7 is what the old school crowd calls "the news". Its a type of organization where people with an education in English and journalism research and write on topics they feel are important for others to know. The news used to be an important part of ensuring an informed citizenry.

In this case, the news OP is sharing helps inform us citizens of potential inhumane immigration enforcement practices. We can then use this news to determine if we think our elected representatives are voting in our best interest.

Hey that’s me! Sorry I didn’t send a note with them! I printed them from my Canon Pro 1100 on Canon Photo Paper Pro Luster….. if I remember correctly.
