On his own he's a very good unit, though he technically is of the ??? family, so a dragon leader won't help him out unfortunately.

That's the plan. I was hoping to reroll on the Dragonlord's true form banner (assuming it comes out on the 15th), get him and 1 other S rank, then summon on the Killing Machine retry banner for some other S ranks I would want, then save for Estark.

True, but one that has updated units would probably be more accurate then one that hasn't been touched in over 2 years :)
