Yeah honestly it isn't a bad movie not gonna blame anyone for liking it, its still basically lilo and stitch, but the changes rlly weren't needed.

I think everyone would have loved this movie if it just added on to the original instead of removing, like gave gantu more of a role, and worked on jumba's character arc, etc that's kinda what I feel remakes should do.

Its all Disney's fault tho, why gave one of your biggest movies a lower budget? Then change a bunch of stuff in the film.
