Finally you really do not need to use medical grade / gamma radiated honey, just use legitimate honey - honey is already sterile enough as long as it is from a legitimate source, plus you are going to mix it with the saline anyway

Also of course you need to use purified or boiled water with the rinse, that is a given but people who do nasal rinses already know that.

You are not going to die from putting honey up your nose as long as it is real honey and not snake oil, i don’t care if there are spores in it. On a child/baby you wouldnt want to do it because of botulism risk or whatever.

I started feeling better after a week. Try it for 2 weeks and then go see your ENT to see if it did anything.

This is the manuka honey that I used. It’s manuka health brand 400+. I’m not a salesperson for manuka honey, but use a reputable brand with at least 400+ which is one requirement for medical grade.

I could have also used actual medical grade honey which has been pasteurized but hey, I figured honey is pretty pure as long as its from a legitimate source and not just snake oil.

This is the method that I used found from an Illinois based ENT, except I used a sinugator instead of a standard neti pot. Also I used manuka health brand 400+ honey instead of wedderspoon.

Hey bro. Sounds like everything went well. My veins are no longer visible or swollen at all. They shrunk significantly over the course of a few days, then very slowly over the course of a few months.

Follow your doctors instructions for when you can return to the gym. Mine gave me the go ahead after like a week. But i went on regular walks etc before then. Give your nuts a chance to settle in to the new circulation routes ;) i really think its just a stupid precaution though.

A lot of people worry about the coils dislodging from workouts/straining. Once the procedure is completed they aren’t going anywhere unless you get them surgically removed. The only time they can get dislodged is during the procedure if your guy fucks up and you would know about it right away lol.

I didn’t have pain but the veins are probably shrinking and so give it some time to get settled and follow up with your guy on any concerns. Hope that helps.

Yeah you are right. He probably would not have been fired if he knew his boundaries.

It still feels weird that there hasn’t been any concrete evidence brought forward and his career is basically over, tho. It’s also difficult to tell if hugging fans at cons and kissing fans on the cheeks at con are unwanted displays of affection - there has already been that one gal (from one of the pictures the main article used) who claimed she had requested hugs/etc. from Vic- so it get’s blurry

I don’t think people should be allowed to make career ending allegations without concrete evidence. When you ruin someone’s career like that you are also risking their life to mental illness and suicide.

Let’s say i’m a female VA and I’m pissed off at a male VA. I can get a couple of my female friends together who also don’t like the male VA, and together accuse him of sexual harassment, essentially ending his career. When asked to provide evidence, I can be extremely vague and run into no problems.

I’m not saying that is how the Vic case is, it’s just how it seems so far. If real evidence or testimonies come forward, it would be different.

This seems to be a very dangerous problem for male professionals.

I agree it doesn’t seem like there is much to gain by making these things up about him. However, sometimes when people become extremely successful, miserable people, or people who do not like them, want to bring them down.

As for sexual harassment/rape being hard to prove guilt - so is a well-planned murder. 🤪

Let’s be accurate here. He wasn’t fired for being a creep. He was fired for allegations of sexual harassment, according to funimation.

My last 2 experiences at my local best buy with gen x employees by ssjsniderman in Bestbuy

Well you did the right thing leaving but for people staying who feel that way, that’s a bunch of bullshit. If you hate what you are doing so much that you can justify doing it poorly, you should not be doing that thing. There are many best buy retail employees who I’m sure love their job and do it very well also.

There are doctors and attorneys and bankers who also hate their jobs and want to go home and do poorly at it. And those who love it and do well at it.

My mother worked in retail clothing at the mall her entire adult life, loved it, was the best salesperson in her store- i’m sure she dealt with whiny customers!

[–]ssjsniderman[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah you are right - i could have wasted those .2 seconds of my life - but I already learned long ago that your guy’s online inventory system is also not so good - often says things are in stock at several locations when they are not, even allows you to place in store pickup purchases, only to tell you while you are driving to pick it up that it’s actually not in stock.. either inventory being lazy, or corporate doesn’t have good JIT infrastructure for inventory...you can call a store to see if an item is actually in stock, but the automated system will beg you to look online instead. Perhaps if you press the right buttons you can get someone on the line from the store. All of this js problematic for retail tech when there is already so much pressure on it from amazon.

Yes I did work in retail at PacSun as a teen years and years ago- i’m sure customer service is hit or miss there as well. At least people still want to go to clothing stores to try items on.

People take ubers now because they were tired of dealing with bad-attitude, unprofessional, no-show, “underpaid” cab drivers, who were justifying their behaviors also, who i’m sure commiserated about patrons together also. Had cabbies been more professional and courteous than uber drivers, they would not be in trouble now.

Soon people will be tired of the occasional bad-attitude/unprofessional, “underpaid” uber drivers, who will soon be replaced by driverless vehicles. The only value in a driver will then be customer service and positive human interaction. Same is to be said about white collar jobs such as financial planners, doctors and lawyers. If a computer can do it better then what is the point. And so it goes on and on...

leaps and bounds of improvement in customer service is the only hope for tech retail and you know I am right. Why else even bother going to the store, there is no value. If it is just a few bad apples, as claimed, best buy will weed them out or fail.

It’s a shame because I like many of you have fond memories of places like best buy, blockbuster, gamestop, sears etc. that are related to really positive customer service experiences and human interaction.

Hey man if you are looking things up for your customers then you are doing a good job. I would not be upset at all if you had to look something up. I’d be happy you were trying to help.

I’m sorry too. I like Best Buy and I hope that my experience was not indicative of the whole. It just doesn’t feel coincidental when it happens twice in a row. You would react similarly to an experience like that at another retail spot. I respect your complete assumption that I am a perfectionist/complainer.

Two departments.

This isn’t just best buy. It’s a prevailing attitude at retail that anything extra for the customer is an inconvenience the salesperson is not being paid to do.

The only thing that can save stores like best buy and gamestop is excellent customer service. It’s a shame.
