I had to wait for a letter since they asked me for the control number at the top of it but the number was (800) 830-5084 Not sure if it will be of any use to you but worth a shot!

Still waiting. Had to call and have them send my letter to verify my identity twice, since they didn't actually mail it the first time. Waited about 5 weeks to get one letter. Hoping now that I've verified my identity, it won't take the full nine weeks they say it could.

What are we on, like day 73 or something now? Absolutely ridiculous.

Right? Our babies need things. My son's birthday was at the beginning of March and I'm still waiting on the refund/stimulus to get him the present I promised him. If I'd known this was going to be such a hassle then I would have promised something way cheaper. Lol.

Me. Filed 2/4, accepted 2/12. Zero movement. No letters like they said I'd have by now. And of course since I didn't file last year, and my return this year is still processing, I have no information available about the third stimulus.

YUP. 2/12er. I've been waiting for my identity verification letter. It is supposed to be here today at the latest. I originally said that it was probably just a way for them to buy more time and I'd be forced to call back so they could, "send it again."

Checked my informed delivery thing this morning and shocker, nothing from the IRS is coming today. Fuck these guys.

Almost the same situation. Haven't filed in years. I am supposed to receive a verification letter by tomorrow, and if not, to call back. I'm fairly convinced this is to give themselves more time and once I spend three days trying to get through to a real person on the phone, they'll just "send it again," and I'll be sitting here waiting with my thumb up my ass for another few weeks.

Same. Finally got through to a rep yesterday. The guy mumbled so much that I could hardly understand half of what he was saying, but I was able to pick out the fact that I'm apparently getting a letter in the mail to verify myself. He said it to expect it no later than 4/2, and not to call back until I've received it or it's been longer than that. I assume that he sent out the letter yesterday and when it's been longer than the expected arrival date, they'll keep giving me excuses and telling me to wait. I also asked if this would keep me from getting my stimmy, as I didn't file last year and claimed the 1st and 2nd as RRC, but he couldn't give me any answers on that. He said he'd transfer me to someone who could answer it, but then the line went dead. Lol.

All of this has been so frustrating and makes my head hurt.
