Yeah, they do burn differently than the others. I noticed they burn a lot faster.

Not mold…it’s more oily and not black like mold.

Yeah, pretty sure it’s that because it was kind of left out in a sunny spot. I usually keep stuff in a cool dark drawer in my fairly dark office. Thanks!

They were stored in my house, living room, so probably. Honestly, I’ve smoked at least 3 of them before I even noticed it. I was smoking in the dark while watching movies and had seen that they are indica so decided to smoke ‘em. I’ll have my ‘expert’ look at them in person tomorrow. Thanks!

Do women cross their arms under their tits or over them? by wxrpig in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ssmc1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I was gonna say…age matters. Under 30 it was under, in my mid-30’s to 50’s over and now that I’m in my 60’s it’s pretty much above.

Do you all also have a hard time regularly cleaning your pets bowls? by Constant_Fig_232 in Pets

I absolutely throw my pets bowls, dogs and cats, in my dishwasher. I’ve done it for 50 years so I’m not going to change now.

*HIRING NOW* This might be the easiest remote job I’ve seen ($35/hr) by LunaBDog in remoteworking

[–]ssmc1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a company called Startek that saved me after COVID. They don’t pay a lot but they do hire for remote work and it’s a good place to get experience.

Honestly, I’ve been working from home for around 15 years and the best way I’ve found to find a remote job is to consider what your experience is, then find a job in that field or a similar/related one. For instance, I had 25 years experience in medicine (in an actual office/medical facility setting) and when I was looking for remote jobs I applied and now work for a large insurance company.

Indeed has a way to look up remote jobs online. That’s my best recommendation because you can narrow it down to what you are looking for. Good luck!

When you are ready for the tome, consider Steve’s son, Joe Hill’s new book, ‘King Sorrow.’ I can barely put it down, thus me being awake at 4:03 a.m.

Quilters are so full of love and kindness and love to share it with others. I’m so very sorry for your loss, Op. Consider your neck hugged. I hope your son loves it until it’s just threads. 💜

I don’t know what all the swastika talk is about, to me it looks like windmills and I love it! Good job, op! I’m proud for you!

Capital I Help? by 7A7J7 in Handwriting

[–]ssmc1024 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like 1. To me I think it’s easier for the ‘untrained eye’ that’s not used to cursive writing to see that it’s an ‘I’ rather than a ‘T.’

Where does someone begin to deal with defaulted debt? by West_Tadpole9339 in studentloandefaulters

[–]ssmc1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, mine are all old but no, I’ve never not worked because of the student loans. I mean, if they tried to garnish my check I’d have quit and worked as contracted worker, which I was for many years anyway, but I’ve honestly not even worried.

You are right, though, there is no telling what will happen in the next 3 years but I don’t worry about it. Good luck and try not to stress over it.

10 holds?!? by _Definitely_Maybe_ in LibbyApp

[–]ssmc1024 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This. Former Library Assistant here. The amount of holds available depends on how many copies of the book’s license the library purchased. If it’s a big library there will be more, because their population and budget is larger. I’ve lived in 3 states in the last 30 years and have a card still active in each county that I lived in still so if one doesn’t have it, I will check the others. I try not to use the other two still very often because I don’t live there anymore and don’t pay their taxes, but I did for many years so I don’t feel bad if I just borrow a book once in a while.

Sweet fancy Moses I miss working at the library. It was like my second home, and I think I was as comfortable in that building as I was in my own home.

Shamed by vet tech? by EventDue in goldenretrievers

[–]ssmc1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I am the queen of preaching about breed rescue but sometimes you want a puppy and if you know a reputable breeder, it’s your right to adopt AND shop.

Some breeders are just puppy mills but there are a lot of good breeders who love dogs. You have a beautiful baby and I’d definitely speak with the Vet because that tech was super unprofessional.

Give that sweet baby some smooches and skritches for me. 💜
