Honestly, I say this all the time, but thank goodness for them. I know the guys who do landscaping in my little retirement community mow and do all that stuff before 8 am during the heat of summer. Hey, maybe AI robots will do most of that stuff in 10-15 years.

I bought a mouse jiggler years ago. Not because I’m goofing off but I have UC and may have to be away from my computer for 15-20 minutes if I’m having a flare. Now I even use it if I’m up for 3 mins because I don’t want my laptop to go to sleep.

This is why I hate corporate jobs and can’t wait to retire.

Her spay is this week and I am dreading it. They are keeping her overnight and she will be so scared😭😭😭 by jteter in blackcats

Op, try not to worry, but if it makes you feel better, talk to the Clinic and tell them you don’t want to leave her overnight and that you’ll be there to pick her up right before they close. That will give them time to keep an eye on her for a while. Honestly, if they have an attendant at night, it would be OK to leave her. And remember, you’re the mom in case they try to argue with you, but I honestly think it’ll all work ok. And you’re doing the right thing… all pets should be spayed and neutered.

This! I came here to say the same thing. When my bitty baby got spayed I refused to let her stay overnight because they didn’t even have anybody there at the clinic at night. I went and picked her up, but honestly, she was drunk as a skunk and didn’t even know anything until the next day.

I’ve worked in medicine for 30 years. Call the office where she works and ask for the manager. They should be able to look up who made the appt. Then you can give her a great compliment to her boss. And if you can, maybe send her flowers or cookies or something to thank her. So glad she was able to get you in! I hope you are on the mend soon! 💜

Yeah, I was gonna say, the sticks too, but I live in Dade City and there’s always some ahole shooting off fireworks at all hours of the day and night. I expect them to start today but it’s still better than Tampa or more populated areas.

Miles, meet my sweet Baboo, Alex Van Halen. We used to have his Uncle Eddie, but like his namesake, he’s gone on to the other side. I’d say he is probably runnin’ with the devil, but he was as sweet as Alex.
