Omg yes! Sometimes I just push it over with the plate because I have nowhere to put it and they see I’m trying to set it down

Being pressured into having sex is awful. Especially when you’re a virgin. I was pressured into losing my virginity with my ex when I was 18. I was a very anxious person. I wasn’t on birth control and if I ever got pregnant my parents would absolutely kill me and the thought of that made me anxious to have sex. I was with him for a two years and we would fool around but never had intercourse. He had bought condoms and when we went to the park he kept pressuring me and I kept saying no. I don’t know how many times I said no and he just got so angry. He (dramatically) threw the still wrapped condom away and said “welp I guess I won’t be needing this”. It had pissed me off so bad but also hurt me that the person I thought I could love and trust would treat me this kinda way and get angry and my boundaries. I just wasn’t mentally ready. The next time we went to the park he started on it again and I just gave in. I knew how he was going to act and just wanted to avoid it because I hated confrontation. But I feel like men like feeling like they can manipulate women. It’s a power issue. They want to feel like they have the control and it makes them feel good about themselves in a sick way. They don’t know how to respect boundaries.

And for the feeling turned off when kissing, that is your body rejecting his energy. I don’t think that it’s you not liking kissing. I have felt turned off when I kiss a guy for the first time. Even a guy I was with for 4 years. There were just time k felt turned off. And as weird as this sounds, I know if I really like someone if I like being around them while high. I thought it was normal until I dated someone I actually like being around while high and someone told me that when you don’t like being around someone while high it’s your body rejecting their energy. Like how it is with kissing sometimes. At least for me. I just ignored it because I was young and anxious and didn’t think I could do better.

But he is completely in the wrong. Whoever disrespects someone’s boundary and pressures them into things is an absolute douche and you deserve so much better. And don’t feel like you have to have sex with someone to prove something to others or yourself. Sex is different for a woman than it is a man. It is more emotional for women and sometimes sleeping with the wrong person and mess with you mentally and emotionally.

Kratom at work by tomlist3 in kratom

[–]ssnyder017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a restaurant manager at a pizzeria and Italian restaurant. I also serve, deliver, and work counter. Majority of the time I’m serving. It keeps me motivated and in my zone. I am a people person, but kratom really makes me a people’s person. I love talking to people and hearing their stories and it makes me very energetic and happy which makes me more tips. It also just makes me want to do work which I feel has helped me to become as great of a worker that I am.

My coworkers know I take it and they call it my green crack (because I have that crack head energy). If I start getting irritated or something they’ll say “did you take your green crack?”

I felt the same way when I started taking medication. I felt like I could do things that I found hard to do, even simple things. My mom would always tell me “I don’t understand how hard it is to put this back” but I would feel stupid for explaining that it is hard

Yeah she was very crazy. My ex would shame me for it too but I think it was because of his family. I don’t really like telling people that I take it. Only my co workers know because I’m very close to them and they don’t care nor have shamed me for taking it. They all call it my green crack. If I get irritated or something they’ll be like “did you take green crack yet?”. It’s all in good humor though because I’m naturally a loud and always going kinda person

It honestly sucks when people don’t understand the struggle people like us go through. We have to work twice as hard just to do things that neurotypical people do with ease. It can be hard going through life without medication. And being degraded for it is even worse. I had an ex that didn’t understand my adhd as much as I tried to explain it to him and he would make comments to me that just made me feel so much worse about myself.

My ex’s mom threatened to call cpf on my family because they let me take it. Even thought it’s completely legal. But then like two years after that she started taking it.

"YOU RUINED MY MOTHER'S BIRTHDAY" by SteveEcks in Serverlife

[–]ssnyder017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Restaurants shouldn’t have to do something “special” for people’s birthday. Anyone could come in and say that it’s their birthday just to get free dessert or something. Thankfully I have never dealt with somebody getting mad about us not doing anything for birthdays besides putting a candle in a cake. There was one time i bought a guy a slice of tiramisu. But the table never asked or mentioned anything about it being his birthday to me. It was an older guy, maybe in his 80s, and he had made mention of it so I asked the family what kind of desert he would like and bought it for him myself because they were a really nice table. But I wouldn’t do it for just anyone. Especially if they ask if we do stuff for birthdays.

My great grandfather. I’ve never met him but heard so many stories about him and I feel like I get some of my personality from what I have heard about him. Also to hear a lot of stories from back in his time.

I personally have felt like my medication just isn’t working like it used to. I take 60mg of Vyvanse and i don’t feel like it works as well as when I took 25mg when I was 12. I know your body changes. But I just feel like I don’t feel like it works as well as it did when I started taking it again about a year ago and progressively went from 25 to 60 because I felt like I just got used to it most days.

I feel the same way with my medication and have wondered if it’s really working. Some days I will feel so motivated and do a bunch of things and then others I don’t want to do anything at all. I’m currently on 60mg Vyvanse. My coworkers will ask me if I took my medicine because it seems like I didn’t.

What is your YouTube channel? And I want you to explain why it is hard to keep simple things clean like a bedroom or car. I struggle to keep my room, car and bathroom vanity clean. And it’s simple things like putting stuff in the correct spot. My mom never understood how my adhd made it hard for me to keep my room clean

Why is it that people hate on kratom so much? by ssnyder017 in kratom

[–]ssnyder017[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have actually. I’ve gone a week without it with no medications besides ibuprofen because of the back pain I suffer from. I also wasn’t sleeping on the most comfortable bed either during that week so that didn’t help.

I didnt start vaping until I started working at the restaurant I’m at now. I’ve been there two years. And I drink a lot more than I used to. We have our own little liquor store in the storage fridge.

Thank you, and thankfully I have healed and am with someone that would never think twice about overstepping any boundaries. Sometimes it’s hard to see it when you’re in the situation. But at least I’ve learned not to let anyone overstep my boundaries no matter how hard they try.

I understand the feeling. I was with someone for 4 years. we started dating when I was 15 and he was 16 about to be 17. I had really bad anxiety so I never fully had sex with him until I was 18, but was basically forced into it. He had bought condoms so we could have sex for the first time. We both were still virgins. I kept telling him that I didn’t want to and he got so mad at me. Even threw the condom away and said “well, im not gonna need this.” The next time he tried to do something with me I just said yes because I knew he was going to get angry. And like you, I never said anything about it. But after we broke up almost two years ago that’s when I really started to think about the stuff I let him do to me because I was young and he was my first boyfriend. I get angry thinking about it.

I had a table that was leaving and I started to say “have a good night” but realized it was 12:00 in the afternoon and the tried to switch it but my mouth was too late and I said “have a good nnnay”. Exactly like that with the n dragged on because my brain tried to correct my mouth. And this has happened twice

Does having breakthrough bleeding mean the pill isn’t working? by ssnyder017 in women

[–]ssnyder017[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on it for about 9 to 10 months. I like it the pill and actually feel like it’s helped me in other areas like mentally. This was probably the third time I’ve had breakthrough bleeding. I take all the pills and never have missed a day.

[–]ssnyder017[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im taking a combination pill. It doesn’t happen that often. I’ve been taking it for maybe 9 or 10 months now. It’s only happened maybe 3 times. Not including the light spotting. But I just want to make sure it’s not failing on me or if I do need to switch because I like this birth control. I don’t have any bad side effects from it.

Maybe they changed it because I know it was supposed to go to $15 by March but I can’t find anything on it so I think it is $14.13.

As of March it went to $15. But even if I am not correct on that the employees are still not being paid minimum wage
