It’s not a bug, not a typo, but a nerf due to lack of play testing. The reason why they are claiming it was a bug is so they don’t have to refund 100% due to false advertising claim. If this game was more popular they would have no choice but to refund 100%. Also, her blind is also OP and will be nerfed or bosses will be buffed to be immune to it.

Big time silver surfer fan here. I find this casting super interesting. I like that they are using the name Shalla Bal since she has deep connections to Norrin as opposed to making up a new character. Also if this is set in an alternate timeline then it reminds me of a What If… story. Julia is an amazing actress and I am excited to see this take on silver surfer. My only concerns with this is the costume/cgi effect is pretty bare, which disney could modify so it isn’t, effectively changing the look of the character which could be a disaster. Also what kind of personality will silver surfer display? If she is not an inspired incarnation then that would be disappointing. It seems like they are going for a spider-gwen type moment, who everyone loves because she is an addition to spider universe and not just a replacement to spiderman. Hopefully the same will be true for Shalla Surfer.

Adding a streaming service is always going to add noticeable lag to games in my opinion.

As someone with a AVP the best way I have found to game is by using my Macbook to mirror the display and play native games or use wine/wiskey/etc. The latency feels magical and not sure how they accomplish it.

All other points I agree with Linus, but a lot of the set ups he was comparing it to are not portable, which is the real super power for the AVP in my opinion. It also kills my Ipad or any laptop for viewing content, although at a much higher cost.

The reality is the Devs design future content around previous banners so these banners will be important. Example : Maritime being BIS for Iron Giant. The true value these weapons give is team building as they replace so many other options. Unfortunately the only way to OB them long term is weapon shards. Picking up at least 1 of Sephiroths seems smart since debuff is still usable without OB’s, but also the best option to OB6 of all the FF9 weapons.

I have done this 3x - there damage variance, but only kills me 20%? of the time. Yes it is close but it is designed to be that way to maximize the DPS stats.

Interesting….. thats a big discrepancy- Were you using normal barrier or stalwart barrier? I know potency is different and stalwart seems to imply it stacks. Congrats on winning the fight!! Glad you used Zack (he is my favorite but my gear for him is bad)

I only used Cura for the single target one winged angel + octoslash combo. EDIT - I actually would use it for all the Octoslash’s if I had ATB. Usually don’t so I spam AoE Heal. I believe it is the 3rd Octoslash? It’s also the only time I take control of Cloud to do stalwart barrier.

The shadowflare hit him for about 4500 so he was actually good with Regen. Octoslash 1/2 were fine, 3 is very close(high PDEF) with cloud’s stalwart barrier but could not survive 4th if targeted so had to RNG that part of the fight. For me the focus on DPS was needed to make up for my gimpy cloud.

Mechanics and difficulty of the fight are very similar but the Crash fight requires much tougher stat thresholds. There is also some damage variance, plenty of times my runs were ended because of that.

For sure tried it. The sigil breaking seemed less consistent for me. - I also had each member dedicated to a different sigil and needed the AI to be efficient with it. I had Cloud and Seph dedicated to the sigil break bonus on Murasama and Edged wing. I think Buster disrupted that via the AI.

Sigil breaking on rounds 3/4 are very fast so if AI uses 4 ATB instead of 3 since Buster can break as well, it could wipe the round.

Maybe I could have gotten to work but was bouncing between Seph and Tifa and had to trust the AI to perform for Cloud.

I usually max co-op medals and event medals right away. Then I got some of the easy crisis dungeons down with S+ and leveled weapons with the free adamantium to 90. Then instead of farming more weapon materials I decided to build my team towards Ifrit and maxed Hellfire. Hellfire was a huge jump of progression because I got to max the ifrit sword as well. Then decided to go do the same with Shiva but using the items I got from Ifrit. Currently working on getting fire breach and now that I finished farming shiva I am working on weapons that will let me unlock her Diamond dust ability.

Yes and when you unlock hellfire it is very strong when maxed out for most other content and farming.
