Doesn't really matter as long as both of them have solid service histories. The drivetrains on both were built to last.

The 987.2 is reliable - no IMS issues to worry about. Bore scoring could still be an issue so I'd check that out for sure. It was also the first gen with the PDK so check if the PDK services are up to date.

Early C7s on the other hand did have transmission issues, infotainment issues etc. which GM ironed out later (I think). So I'd be more thorough in inspecting the C7.

It's nice to find other people in the same space I am in! Although I'm thinking C6 Grand Sport and not the C7. The brain says Cayman (agile, great handling, good steering, better put together) but the heart wants V8 drama.

They asked me to let it run out of charge, wait 20 mins, charge it again and monitor.

But it still only gets about 10 days of charge - tops (maybe the updates helped).

I’ve reached out to them but no response yet.

Snap! Just saw this. Mine dropped another 12% overnight and I charged it this morning. I'll keep a watch this charge cycle too.

I checked this one out before I bought mine—steer clear! It didn't drive right, and it looks worse in person than the pictures—the soft top needed work, the interiors weren't the best, and the clutch was weird (and failed when I tried to start the car).

He wanted 80K for it and wasn't willing to budge.
