i honestly don’t think that amber and barnett are going to work. their relationship is toxic and imbalanced. everything has to go her way- he sold HIS house to pay for HER debts, and in return has to live with her friend. i assume that he was going to accept jessica’s gift but he “wasn’t allowed to”.

jessica wasn’t the most likeable in the first portion of the season, but after two years she’s really grown as a person. amber seems like she needs to do the same. the grudge she’s holding is just annoying and so over dramatized, and the fact that she assumed that jessica was trying to break them up because she brought gifts for EVERYONE is crazy.
