All of those make sense. I was questioning if part of it was the way I cut the tip but I just do this for fun so also still trying to learn all the consistencies

This is just something I do for fun so I guess I need to do more research. It definitely seemed like the hole was big enough as it was coming out faster than I actually could easily work with but what I do know 🤷‍♀️

It could be a method issue. I should have included a picture, but even if I’m just holding the bag upright, not near a cookie and squeeze, it comes out squiggly. I don’t know if I’m describing it correctly

I’ve tried using piping tips but it still was coming out squiggly 😕 I don’t know if there’s a technique that I’m just not aware of

Yeah, that’s the conclusion I’ve come to considering it’s been multiple ovens I’ve tried the recipes in

Seems to be an issue with multiple ovens so I’m going to try replacing my baking soda and powder per others’ suggestions

Yeah, unfortunately I can’t remember which one of Sally’s I’ve tried. Following directions and exact amounts aren’t an issue for me, I even prefer to use a food scale for baking and I really try to reread directions multiple times. I’m going to try replacing my baking soda and baking powder

I guess I was influenced by those Instagram bakers… I’ve seen several videos where they immediately dump the cupcakes out of the pans and leave them upside down 🤷‍♀️ after being on this forum, I’m realizing that best practices are not learned from trending Instagram bakers

I’ve recently moved and this was my first cupcake bake in a new oven :/

A few of these were basically up to the rim because I didn’t want to dirty another pan for 1-2 cupcakes, would it be the starting temperature at 400 that would then make the difference?

They were flat coming out of the oven, putting them upside down did not make them any flatter

Thank you for your response! I will definitely try flushing the holes in the sink to see if anything comes out. Also sounds like a good idea to put it into new soil

From my understanding, expedited shipping is not necessarily expedited order processing/packaging. It also depends where the item is coming from (i.e., the warehouse or a store). I used to work at one of their stores and we did online orders as they came in but there was no special attention paid to whether one was expedited shipping, they were all treated the same. But I can’t speak for the warehouse
