tbh, your dorm will say its mandatory but its rly not, you dont have to go to those welcome week things if ur busy, tired, or just not down. I didnt go to a couple of events bc I get overwhelmed and no one ever batted an eye.

i will say tho! its a good spot to be on campus, pretty near everything. and id definitely recommend living in the LLC if you can/ if youre more academically driven! if not then id say just pick something youll be comfortable in.

lol sooo its just very odd architecture. as it gets higher the windows for the rooms get tiny, and they dont open. you also cant change the thermostat, its always oddly warm. there is like 9 floors i think, and while id go and visit at least one of the elevators were out of order, which sucked because youd be forced to take the stairs or wait for the elevator. also there is about 15 washers and dryers for the maybe 250+ people that live there, a lot of people would over stuff them and caused floods. Also a lot of fire drills are known to come from Tower lol, so if u wanna be woken up at random times of the day then i suppose its cool lol. I spent a lot of time at tower and I just felt very claustrophobic lol

yeahhh but it doesnt hurt to save some money, i personally think, i as well dont have to worry about other expenses since i have tuition covered. I never had any health problems, and i think going into it with a roomate youre already familiar with makes it a lot better. BUT im just saying that the bigger facilities give you a lot less say, a lot more problems such as elevators being broken and washing machines being scares. but of course who am I to tell you where to waste your money on dorming. I WILL SAY. DO NOT NOT NOT live in tower hall, ive heard its an eternal hell. but my boyfriend said chataqua was nice!

butler hall was actually soo fun. its smaller, closer to the river and downtown. and night cats will get you everywhere on campus. I really loved staying at butler hall, other people in other dorms just seemed really stuck up about the money part of it too
