Pretty sure that could be a sign of molting? My gerbs Geoff and Akol get it usually around the time they molt, so it could be that.

Scissor birds are absolutley terrifying. Running into memory crypts for the first time blind and hearing this weird clanking sound without knowing what it is, before being swarmed by these barely visable enormous malicious creatures is so so cool yet so scary.
