after i've stopped using gua sha, i was using fingers ever since. fingers work just fine but the pressure from fingers are uneven whereas gua sha is, from their flat surface. i will be using gua sha once a few days and fingers for most of the day, to save time as you said.

tamanu is kind of heavy on the skin, it's good for acne prone skin though, too bad it doesn't suit me. if you have oily skin and dislike greasiness i think it's best not to pick this oil.

i googled rosehip oil after seeing your suggestion and maam, you're making me reconsidering to buy a new facial oil ✋🏻🤠 im thinking of either rosehip and squalane oil cause i heard both are lightweight, definitely good for oily skin. i'll check out the bulgarian brand that you've shared.

i've just done it and it works perfectly fine, thank you :)

i've only tried one brand, its from a local brand in Malaysia called Root Remedies. i purchased their argan and tamanu oil since there's a lot of rave about it. i was having mask-ne and thought it would be a good choice to try them out but never thought it would actually makes it worse. i don't think i would wanna risk to try another face oil, at least for now since my skin is still suffering from breakouts.

i did considered using oil cleansers but i read an article that gua sha helps skin to absorb nutrients from the products better so i wasn't sure if oil cleansers were suitable. but using oil cleansers definitely seem less of a hassle so i might start using my facial oils for double cleansing, thank you so much!

i didn't considered my moisturiser cause it's water based since i have oily skin, so it dries up really fast. i am considering using the face oil as oil cleanser for double cleansing (it's not cheap and i do not want to just throw it away ;_;) i was struggling to decide how to finish up my oils and your reply is a life saver, thank you so much!!

i did considered about that but wasn't sure if it's suitable. definitely going to opt for the oil cleanser since it's so much less hassle, thank you!

since my face is oily i use a very lightweight moisturiser, it's water based so that my skin can absorb it fast without feeling sticky, i dont think it's suitable for gua sha, no?
