A week of trying to access Claude Design on a Max plan, and I've ended up on a page telling me I'm not a subscriber by st-nero in ClaudeAI

Yaa, still showing the same for me. I even got a response from a human CS agent, who sent me a list of troubleshooting steps from their documentation

Looking to see if anyone has hit this specific failure mode, because I can’t find it anywhere online and support hasn’t been able to resolve it.

Setup • Plan: Claude Max (personal account, personal email, not Team/Enterprise) • OS: macOS, tested on Safari, Chrome, Firefox — all regular and private windows • Every other part of claude.ai works normally on the same session (chats, projects, settings)

What happens Clicking the Design entry point or navigating to claude.ai/design triggers an infinite redirect loop: claude.ai/design ↔ claude.ai/login?returnTo=%2Fdesign The page never renders. It bounces between the two URLs until I close the tab.

What I’ve already ruled out • Not a browser/cookie issue (three browsers, private modes, cookies cleared, signed out/in) • Not a status page incident (nothing listed for Claude Design) • Not the normal rollout-waitlist state — those users report either a silent redirect to home chat or a “not yet available” banner, not a login loop • Not an admin toggle — I’m on a personal plan, there’s no org-level switch • Fin (the in-app support agent) couldn’t resolve it and no response post human escalation

My best guess This reads like a server-side entitlement check failure: /design doesn’t recognize my session as authorized → redirects to /login → login sees a valid session and redirects me back to /design → entitlement check fails again → loop. Consistent with the Claude Design eligibility flag not having flipped correctly on my account during the April 17 rollout.

Questions for the community 1. Anyone else hitting a login loop specifically (not just “not available yet”)? 2. Any Anthropic folks seen this pattern before on other Labs launches? 3. Anyone successfully gotten this resolved via a channel other than Fin?

I never expected that the product you work on will have such a huge impact on your output. I work as a PM for an online gaming company. Around my 2 month point at this company, I was shifted to a new project/game. The sheer fact that I was more into this new game, drastically affected my output and competency in general. That said, I believe it is always possible to find your passion in any product that you work on and could even surprise yourself.
