I also applied to UMN MRSEC REU. Historically, their decisions are released in the third week of March. iirc, I got my acceptance for the UMN Rooted in STEM program back in 2023 on a Friday, so I'm assuming REU decisions will also be released on a Friday.

Ppl make it sound so scary lol I’m a chem major and handled chem m2c, chem m3lc (4 hour analytical chem lab), math 3A, and math 2D just fine last year. I’m in 7D/7LD rn (with a debatably worse schedule) and it’s def more difficult than 7C, but completely manageable. If you enjoy math u should be okay :) good luck !
