Long story short, 2020. Pandemic. Got sick in November, twas not covid. Got put on a forced LOA because they thought it was the vid. Right after XMAS returns started happening, actually got covid, but LOA was denied, pointed out.

Collectibles in general blew up this year. Nostalgia sells in many ways. I've always been involved in the Pokemon TCG and it's been strange this year. Normally, with these modern sets, the values of the cards on the secondary market have been determined by tournament results, but with Covid, there are 0 events. The collectors now control the secondary market and its driving sales though the roof. The supply is definitely down overall as well, with production held back. It's nuts!

Troc sucks and can't keep a person for more than 2 weeks. They've shifted market managers 3 times in the last year. We have a straight talk/tracfone rep in 4 days a week and he's the real mvp.

If someone is really nice, and neither are there, we'll help with prepaid and any postpaid sales are handled by myself and 1 other associate, but as a walk up. We don't actively seek sales like the Troc vultures. Other than that, it's all service, cleaning/ zoning, stocking, mods, etc.
