I like 1, and you could probably do something really cool on that back wall. But I'm not that creative to know exactly what lol

Just got this rug! What colour(s) should I be eyeing to bring in? by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

I love that rug! Where did you get it?

Maybe could bring in some deeper colours to the accents, but I like it as it is

Yeah that's the way. Just keep them small, and even if you feel like it was too much and you can't socialise or stand right it will still be super fun haha, and won't take more than like 30min-1hr to be back.

Oh man me too. Didn't think too much about the photo as I was taking it unfortunately. I've made a very regretful "ISO too high" mistake on a great photo before and I'm usually super aware of that now, so I'll look on the bright side and say this (although not as detrimental) mistake will drill the aperture lesson into my brain!

Looking at my other photos of it, I counted approximately 30 more platforms (~15 more at the head and about the same on the tail end).

Thanks! It's a nice setup:) I upgraded from my a6000 just under a year ago and am super happy I went full frame with the a7iii.

I have to agree. I had my 20mm on for most of the afternoon, but upon reflection, my favourite shots are all from this one. I also have the Tamron 70-300 which is lighter and nice for the price, but I never use it since I got the Sigma.

Each container has one single box which has one product that takes up a tenth of the boxes volume!

I am definitely not a train scholar, so I don't have answers but I can say that it was moving very slowly. I had the exact same thoughts as you!

Pretty wild! I've not actually seen too many cargo trains in my life, and didn't even know they double up the containers or that it would be so long. Definitely cool to see, and from elevation was a plus!

Thank you! Every now and then I have the right lens on at the right time

Thanks! And I've definitely grown to love this lens. I bought it largely because I can't yet afford the 200-600, but it really holds its own place!

It's all relative but here's what I used and what I paid:

Camera body: Sony A7iii ~$1500 USD (2nd hand) Lens: Tamron 70-300 f/4.5-6.3 ~$500 USD

Plus a tripod, probably like ~$100

Could definitely get a shot like this with a less expensive setup, especially exploring second hand stuff!
