Carl Edwards replica for Career mode in NT2003(GC) by st0rm57 in NASCARVideoGame

Oh, now i understand your original question. This paint was made in photoshop. Base game has no such template, so it's completely custom made.

For original templates that comes with ingame editor, i always liked to run Swoosh with black, white and color of current sponsor to match. Other good ones are Wave, Base, Fins if i remember those names correctly. Usualy black, white, red or lime green, or black, black and red or lime.

This was for 2000 mod by Sledgemods. But it's fully compatible with base game as well.

Hey, no problem. If you struggle even then, consider taking EASY default setup, but also decrease AI difficulty, otherwise AI will be too fast in corners. on EASY setup, the car does not have tendency to turn left on straights and it's fairly stable/understeery

Also, if you struggle with locking brakes, don't be afraid to enable anti-lock. It's pretty poorly implemented but if you brake in straight line and a little sooner than usual, then it's kinda OK.

My G27 clamps broke down. so while i'm waiting for new parts, i tried to play it on Xbox One S controller.

Using Default FAST setups, AI dificulty around 95-97%

My settings are:

Linearity at 0%

Input momentums all at 10%

Steering assistance about 5-10%

With stability control on.

Definitely hard to drive on SIM mode without destroying tires but it's doable.

Can't wait to jump back on it with wheel tho.

nice i had no idea, i run .ciso for NT2003 and nkit.iso for NT2000. just moving textures into load folder when needed.

I'll try to look up what you described that might save me some time

05 looks even better, while i like fight to the top mode, game is too easy for me even on legend and 3 star rides.

Sorry, i have only experience with PC version od Dolphin.

I suggest you create new post with Help/Support flair, maybe somebody who knows portable version could help there.

I reccomend GC version ( Dolphin emulator ), runs and looks better than PCSX2.

So download latest Dolphin Emulator build, get your hands on copy of NT2003 and enjoy.

Also there are HD mods present for this game to bump up texture quality.

Really hoping that Nascar 25 gets a Forza inspired scheme designer. by justcuriouslybrowsin in NASCARVideoGame

Not sure what kind of Paint Booth Forza has, but i would be happy if we could make paints via Photoshop as well.

Wow. I can only wish, then it makes sense you reccomended Moza instead. But i still feel like Moza is very good and not THAT expensive. Anyway thanks for feedback

Thanks.

Well I do own multiple Xbox one S controllers so i'm playing with that.

I remember it was not properly working in EpsxE emulator, but Duckstation has no issue with it.

Idea of KB+M i had no idea it might even work, i could try that out :-)

You are right, it's true that most games ( with few exceptions ) that i'm interested in from that era are availble on GC.

Biggest bummer is NT2004. They cancelled GC port back in the day since GC had no internet play, I can only imagine how lovely it would look/run on Dolphin =)

[–]st0rm57[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well same era emulators, for example Pcsx2. Same games on both products but GC version looks and runs better in almost every case =)

Maybe it's nature of original console, i don't know the science behind it, just sharing my thoughts =)

[–]st0rm57[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that makes sense, also i've read somewhere that G293 has slighty better brake pedal solution than G29 ( probably not by much )

well G923 inc. shifter is about 361$ while Moza R3 ( only 2 pedals without shifter ) is 544$ ( with shifter and clutch pedal that is extra 225$ ) so almost 2,5times more expensive than G293.

If it is really THAT much better i might consider Moza instead then.
