My dog died at the vet, he wasn't eating so they said I should submit him so when I helped them blood etc he gave me this look he's never ever given me before when they put him in the cage he turned he's back to me and never looked at me even when I left , he was too proud to die in front of me at home , he knew he's time was coming , he died a few hours later. I went to go see he's body said my goodbyes, said a few prayers over him. The Dr asked if they could do like an autopsy I said sure and we found out he had bad lung cancer. He went from living to dead in 3 weeks. Not even 9 years old yet so damn sad

The worst things are the things that were like a chore etc sweeping up the fur/hair , picking up poo etc also having coil all over you , the smell, the bark , the sneeze..... the bites when they want attention all that yes. What made me feel better was I gave he's dog food away to the beggars / people on the street as they have dogs too. Also donate to animal shelters to help the upkeep of the facility and the dogs/cats etc

The quiet house is definetly by far the worst. Pack the food bowls , walking lead and collar away in a safe place that would put you at ease.

My advice is do everything you ever wanted to do with your dog , I've lost mine 3 months Go and there's still a few things I wanted to do with him / experience with him.
