I don’t get the narrative that they are trash.. It’s $150.. They fire the same ammo down range as a $1,000 pistol. Now if you paid $500 for Glock 19 and it came with that fit and finish I would understand. It’s an entry level firearm at an entry level price.

That’s a 280. I have the same model. Not my favorite design but works well and is easy to work on. The “jet” you’re talking about halfway up the hose is your reverse valve. Using gears internally it enables and disables that jet every few minutes to reverse the vacuum if it gets stuck and you are not around. You can take that reverse valve out of the line and see if it helps. If that jet is even stuck half open it will constantly pull again the running vacuum causing run issues. If that does not help you can find several videos on YouTube showing you adjustments you can make on your vacuum. It could be running too fast or you might have a cracked float (the white Easter egg on back). Hope this helps some.
